We’ve had a very busy first 6 months in The Old Hardware, so we are looking to recruit for two new roles to support our volunteers. The roles are
* Shop Assistant
* Tearoom & Bakery Assistant
These are Community Employment Positions. The positions are a part time, 19.5hrs per week for a one year contract.
These are a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Shop Assistant role (Ref: #CES-2131998)
Tasks would include:
- retail skills,
- welcoming & greeting customers,
- serving customers & managing point of sale process,
- stock management,
- merchandising / display,
- keeping work areas clean & tidy,
- cashing up using end of day procedures
Tearoom Assistant role (Ref: #CES-2135707)
Task would include:
- serving customers
- taking customer orders
- making teas & coffees
- clearing tables
- assist with general kitchen duties
Following appropriate training and qualifications, tasks would include:
- preparation of food – cakes, breads etc.
