Our Suppliers – Fee’s Cakes

If you haven’t been to visit The Old Hardware on our Friday when our weekly cupcakes are delivered, then you are really missing out! These cupcakes have a loyal weekly following and few survive beyond the Saturday morning rush.

We are very lucky to have such a talented caker on our doorstep in Fee’s Cakes. Week after week Fee creates the most beautifully crafted and purely divine cupcakes for our visitors.

Here’s a little bit more about the woman herself…

Tell us a little about yourself…

I used to bake for my weekly toddler group, and lots of the mums would ask if I would make a cake for their children’s birthdays. After a while, I thought I would try and make a go of it as a business, so here we are three years on and now into my fourth year, baking up a storm in Narraghmore!

What kind of products do you offer?

Bespoke celebration cakes, cupcakes and cookies.

What is your favourite piece to produce?

I love it when I’m asked to make a cake and the client completely trusts me to come up with a design.  I’m very lucky that a lot of my customers allow me that bit of indulgence!

Bespoke cakes are my specialty, so even when I’m asked to recreate one of my own designs, I do try and make it as tailored to the recipient as possible. Milestone birthdays are usually where something unique and special for the occasion is requested.

What is the price range of your products?

Most celebration cakes would begin around €50, and a box of 6 cupcakes would be around €15 depending on the level of decoration requested.
