It’s really exciting to see new businesses starting up in our local area – none more exciting than new start up by friends Lorna Frawley and Joanna Sammons called Irish Flower Crafts.
These talent women have created some truly unique designs in the range of jewellery and home-ware products, which all feature a little piece of the Irish countryside.
We think Lorna and Joanna are going to be busy in the lead up to Christmas, so we asked them to share a little more about Irish Flower Crafts with us…
Tell us a little about yourselves…
Irish Flower Crafts was established by friends Lorna Frawley and Joanna Sammons. From our studio in County Kildare, we produce a range of unique, handcrafted jewellery and home-ware products inspired by the Irish countryside.
Our eco-conscious approach means we produce the old-fashioned way and all items are handcrafted using high quality materials.
All flowers used in our products are gathered from our gardens or local habitats, then individually dried or pressed. Resin used in our products is high-quality epoxy resin that’s odourless, non-toxic, with no solvents or VOCs. All materials used in our products are sourced from within the EU. Where possible all packaging is made from recycled materials and is itself recyclable or compostable.
What kind of products do you offer?
We offer a range of jewellery and homewares such as wall hangings, coasters and paperweights inspired by nature. Each item is handcrafted in our studio in County Kildare.
What is your favourite piece to produce?
Even though they take the longest, our favourite item to make is probably our wall hangings. Many of which contain uniquely Irish phrases like ‘Grá’, ‘Sláinte’, ‘Chlann’ and ‘Fáilte’, these mean a lot to our customers – and to us.

What is the price range of your products?
Our prices range from €15.00 – €30.00.
